Paavo Järvensivu, D.Sc. (Econ.), is a co-founder and researcher at the independent, multidisciplinary research unit BIOS, which studies the impacts of environmental and resource factors on Finnish society – economy, politics, culture – and develops the foresight of decision-makers and citizens. BIOS aims to develop the conditions for a rapid ecological reconstruction of societies in Europe and globally.
