Mary Collins is Senior Policy and Advocacy Coordinator at the European Women’s Lobby, where she has been working for a number of years. She works mainly on socio-economic issues relating to women’s economic independence, including the gender pay, pension, poverty gaps, work-life-balance and EU economic governance issues. She also coordinates the EWL Feminist Economics working group, which published the Purple Pact, for a feminist economic model.

Mary has over 25 years’ professional experience, including in policy development, capacity building, representation, campaigning and advocacy. She has expertise in gender and socio-economic issues focusing on Europe. Experience in accompanying legislative and policy processes at EU level in the area of women’s rights, gender equality, social and labour market policies. She also has experience in training and capacity building to a wide range of audiences with regards to gender equality, women’s rights and gender mainstreaming.
