Louison Cahen-Fourot is an assistant professor in Economics at Roskilde University’s Department of Social Sciences and Business (Denmark) and a guest researcher at WU Vienna’s University of Economics and Business’ Institute for Ecological Economics (Austria). He works in the fields of ecological macroeconomics and the political economy of society-environment relations, on topics such as the economic and financial impacts of the low-carbon transition, the integration of environmental issues in monetary policy, and the interdependencies and interconnections between material flows and socio-economic dynamics. Cahen-Fourot is a board member of the International Society for Ecological Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from Sorbonne Paris Nord University.
