Jakob Hafele is Executive Director and Head Economist of the ZOE Institute for Future-fit Economies. He co-founded ZOE in 2017. As an independent think & do tank, ZOE is dedicated to research and advocacy for an economy that enables people to live well within planetary boundaries. It has made it to the top of EU politics in a short space of time. Jakob is an industrial policy expert and previously worked as a consultant, researcher, and trainer with the United Nations, GIZ, the University of Linz, and the Macroeconomic Policy Institute.
