Summary

The panel aims at looking at what is still needed in EU policy to ensure that EU industry and industrial policy is aligned with our climate ambition and respects our planetary boundaries. The US is moving towards a greener industrial policy with the Inflation Reduction Act and Europe is evaluating its countermove. There is a great potential not only to achieve climate targets but also to tackle regional divergence.
